Concrete and Site Improvements for Commercial Properties
Precision Pavement Solutions provides selected concrete and site improvement services for commercial properties, managed communities and construction projects.
Our work includes sidewalk repair, concrete trip hazard grinding, bollard installation and related parking lot site items.
We frequently coordinate these services with pavement striping, asphalt maintenance and parking lot improvements.
What Concrete and Site Services Do You Provide?
Depending on the project scope, PPS can provide:
- Selected sidewalk repairs
- Concrete trip hazard grinding
- Bollard installation and associated concrete work
- Parking lot wheel stop installation
- Parking lot sign installation
- Related minor site improvements
We review each project to determine whether the requested work falls within our service scope.
Can You Grind Uneven Sidewalk Transitions?
Yes. PPS provides concrete grinding for selected sidewalk trip hazards and uneven transitions.
Grinding may be suitable for some raised edges or localized surface differences.
The condition of the concrete, extent of the height difference and applicable accessibility requirements determine whether grinding is an appropriate treatment.
Can You Repair Damaged Sidewalk Sections?
Yes. PPS can review selected sidewalk repair scopes.
Some damaged areas may require removal and replacement rather than surface grinding.
The repair approach depends on the existing conditions and project requirements.
Does Sidewalk Grinding Make a Route ADA Compliant?
Not necessarily.
Grinding may address a localized elevation difference, but full accessibility also involves running slopes, cross slopes, widths, surface conditions and connections to accessible routes.
PPS performs the defined improvement work. The overall accessibility of a route must be evaluated against applicable requirements. Our ADA parking requirements guide covers the parking side, and our ADA parking markings service handles the striping.
Can You Combine Concrete Work With Parking Lot Maintenance?
Yes. Selected concrete improvements can be included with asphalt repairs, parking lot striping, signs, wheel stops and bollards.
This is particularly useful for property managers and general contractors coordinating several exterior site items.
Do You Perform Large Structural Concrete Projects?
PPS focuses on selected concrete and site improvement scopes associated with commercial pavement and parking areas.
Projects involving structural design, extensive concrete construction or specialized engineering requirements should be reviewed individually before inclusion in a proposal.
