Commercial Parking Lot Striping and Restriping

Precision Pavement Solutions provides commercial parking lot striping and restriping for existing properties and newly paved lots across the South Carolina Lowcountry and coastal Georgia.

We work with property managers, HOAs, general contractors, paving contractors and commercial property owners to install clear parking space lines, traffic markings and designated parking areas.

Our work includes restoring existing markings and applying new pavement markings to project plans and specifications.

What Parking Lot Striping Services Do You Provide?

PPS installs and refreshes a range of commercial pavement markings, including:

  • Standard parking space lines
  • ADA parking spaces and access aisles
  • Fire lane markings
  • Crosswalks and pedestrian markings
  • Directional arrows
  • Stop bars
  • Loading zones
  • Reserved and designated parking spaces
  • EV parking markings
  • Pavement lettering and stenciling

We can also coordinate parking lot signs, wheel stops and related site improvements as part of the project.

When Should a Parking Lot Be Restriped?

A parking lot should be considered for restriping when existing markings have faded enough to affect visibility, parking organization or traffic circulation.

The appropriate timing depends on pavement condition, traffic, weather exposure and the condition of the existing markings.

For an occupied commercial property, we can evaluate the existing layout and plan the work around customer, tenant or resident access.

Can You Stripe a Newly Paved Parking Lot?

Yes. PPS provides striping for newly paved parking lots and new construction projects.

When a project requires a new parking configuration, we can work from civil drawings and layout plans to establish parking spaces, access aisles and other specified pavement markings.

For projects requiring layout from plans, see our dedicated parking lot layout and new construction striping service.

ADA Parking Markings and Accessibility Improvements

PPS installs ADA parking markings and accessibility improvements to applicable plans and requirements.

This work can include designated parking space lines, access aisle markings, pavement symbols and associated parking signage.

Accessible parking involves more than painted lines. Slopes, accessible routes, ramps and other site conditions must also be considered when evaluating overall accessibility.

Can You Stripe a Parking Lot Without Closing the Entire Property?

Yes. Depending on the layout and scope, parking lot striping can often be organized into phases so portions of the property remain accessible.

For occupied retail centers, offices, hotels and residential communities, we can coordinate work areas, vehicle relocation and scheduling with the property manager.

Night and weekend scheduling is available for projects where daytime operations need to be maintained.

The traffic paint we use typically dries in about 15 to 30 minutes, so striped areas can usually reopen relatively quickly. Actual drying time depends on temperature, humidity and surface conditions.

Parking Lot Striping With Other Maintenance Services

Striping is frequently one part of a larger parking lot maintenance project.

PPS can coordinate restriping with:

Bundling services can simplify estimating and coordination for property managers and commercial owners.
